Opinion

An upmarket establishment although the exterior has a rather dated appearance. There are many steps in the communal areas which some less agile guest may find tiresome. This French orientated property has a cheerful and cool atmosphere that pleases those seeking a well managed but fairly traditional style base.

Exterior

A grand Moorish style entrance with unrailed steps welcomes guests to a large irregular building with attractive arches, small railed balconies and many local features. The restaurant and bar terraces a have charming pagoda structure and splendid sea views.

Interior

The abundance of Moorish arches add character and charm, especially in the cool marble lobby where wide windows offer panoramic views over the pool area to the sea. One bar has blue furnishings and an entertainment stage whilst the restaurants is carefully furnished with easy access to the buffet area. An a la carte restaurant is more intimate and specialises in seafood dishes.

Grounds

There are many steps to one side of the L-shape pool which has a busy surround with comfortable sun loungers. A path leads out to the beach where there are more furnishings during the summer season.

Area Type: Towards the north end of the main tourist stretch, alongside an array of less elegant properties with a few snack bars, shops and restaurants situated within 250 yds along the road. Taxis wait outside the entrance.
