A rather functional looking 3-star all inclusive property that offers a somewhat impersonal environment in a relatively remote location, over 4 mls from the resort centre and its medina. The amount of communal space is limited when considering the number of guests accommodated at peak periods. Attracts a truly international selection of families seeking budget property with a happy atmosphere throughout.

A cream coloured unexciting and dated low-rise building with a series of bungalow type accommodation nearer the beach. Some of the recessed balconies enjoy a sea view whilst the small nondescript entrance is approached along a short drive.

Interior

The interior communal areas are rather dark and unexciting but acceptable for the category. The lobby and lounge bars feature comfortable furnishings and inviting decor whilst the main restaurant is impersonal with adequately sized servery areas.

Grounds

The grounds are well landscaped with attractive greenery, neat lawns and a path leading between the shrubberies to the sandy beach where there is a beach bar and a supply of sunloungers. The pool surround sees a range of organised activities throughout the day.

Location

Area Type: At the N extreme of the resort set back from the coast road that leads towards Nabeul with a tiny railway halt 200 yds from the entrance, for occasional trains to Hammamet centre and beyond. There is very little around in the way of facilities apart from an adjacent sister property, the Omar Khayam, and a couple of other 4-star establishments. Taxis wait outside the main gate.
