A family orientated resort style property with an eclectic array of designs and architecture. The vast majority of guests are French and very few of the staff speak much English. The flat and spacious grounds are a hive activity thanks to the larger than average pool and the rather exposed and unkempt nature of the beach that fringes one side of the property.

Exterior

A brown coloured fairyland type grotto like building forms the main communal area. This is backed by a series of mundane looking multi-coloured blocks stretching down towards the sea. Guests in the furthest rooms encounter many steps between blocks.

Interior

A grotto of beige concrete and rustic coolness with many cacti on display and steps connecting the various sections. The vast ground floor restaurant is rather functional and unexciting whilst the bar is bright and airy but lacking character. The a la carte restaurant is more intimate and calm.

Grounds

The flat and spacious gardens accommodate a massive pool area with a good supply of sun loungers. One side of the garden is arid and farm like with swaying palms providing occasional shade. The pool bar is well furnished and there are many organised activities which are usually conducted in French.

Location

Area Type: On a sandy spit, midway between the two main tourist zones of Djerbas east coast. Two mls from the small town of Midoun. There is little in the immediate vicinity of interest to the tourist apart from a couple of middle markets resort style properties along the road. A few shops and a bus stop are situated ½ ml away on the main road. Horse drawn carriages and taxis wait outside the gate.
