Interior

Elegant, modern interior is built around a charming courtyard with well tended vegetation and an elaborate fountain. Majestic arches add to the splendour as do the rising pillars and polished marble floors. There is much traditional detail in the tiling and other decor which has all been handcrafted by local craftsmen.

Bar area is sleek and stylish and overlooks the pool. Typical, quality orientated Moroccan meals are served in the various lounges or in the comfortable, plush dining room.

Grounds

There is a courtyard at the ground floor level and a roof terrace with a sizeable pool and a good supply of potted shrubs and plants. There is a limited supply of sunloungers on the terrace from which there are sweeping views over the rooftops of the medina.

Area Type: As central as it gets in the ancient medina area, set to the side of a wide cul de sac with many residential buildings and a couple of other less luxurious riads in the same vicinity. Property is approached through a labyrinth of confusing, narrow alleyways and guests are often approached by generally harmless local residents offering their guiding services. Main souk area is 200m away and the main street leading up towards Bab Boujloud is 100m away.
