Exterior

An attractive, modern, grey corner sited building with steps up to the main glass fronted entrance which is reached via a small drive under canopy. Most rooms have balconies with many enjoying sweeping views across the road to the beach and Atlantic Ocean beyond, with Ile de Mogador in the distance. Other balconies look on to the attractive pool area and spacious restaurant terraces.

Interior

Cool marble and modern but tastefully arranged furnishings feature heavily in the interior. Circular lobby is bright, airy and welcoming with its curved brown reception desk and lofty, ornate dome.

Beige furnishings and pleasant ambience provide an area for relaxation in the bar whilst the large main restaurant has well spaced tables, a wide buffet area and an entrance to a terrace overlooking the pool area. A more intimate and relatively upmarket, a la carte Moroccan style restaurant is also available.

Grounds

Spacious gardens accommodate a sizeable pool which should comfortably accommodate guests, even when the property is full. Pool terrace with its good supply of loungers and parasols is overlooked by much of the accommodation but is sheltered from the prevailing winds for which Essaouira is notorious.

A wide bar area has plenty of seating and the colourful plants and shrubs add style and variety to the grounds.

Location

Area Type: Located on the seafront, in the newer part of the resort, 300m from the main entrance to the ancient medina. Wide sandy beach is immediately opposite the entrance and an area of simple local residences and occasional commercial buildings are located to the rear. A car park is located across the road and there are a few restaurants fringing the beach on the way to the medina. Buses and taxis stop outside.
