A calm and relaxing base in a slightly remote off centre location near one of the city's main attractions, the Bahia Palace. Part of a group of well managed and authentic riads, this property should please those who prefer a tastefully restored base, which spent its former life as the home of the architect of the Bahia Palace. A limousine service is available on request but would be of little use in the town itself.

Interior

The interior is comprised of a small lobby entrance with a narrow passage to a delightful courtyard and a pair of narrow comfortable lounges and reading areas with low tables and sumptuous sofas. Richly coloured textiles and original Berber tiling add more character and charm. Narrow staircases lead up to the accommodation.

Grounds

A central neatly furnished courtyard has a fountain and a display of scented flowering shrubs whilst a roof top terrace, with views towards the Atlas Mountains, has an ornate canopy, tables for alfresco dining and a few sunloungers.

Area Type: In a calm but secluded location, behind the Bahia Palace in the southern part of the Medina and surrounded by similar style properties with the Prefecture car park and taxi rank 120 yds away. There are a few shops from 100 yds away and a selection of restaurants and snack bars from 250 yds, towards the central area. The Riad Si Said, a sister property 80 yds away has a restaurant with occasional entertainment.
