Moniatis Holiday Apartments
In an ideal position to be in the hub of the activity and enjoy the nightlife. The property appeared desolate and, with the pool area being locked, presumed to be unoccupied apart from the large rat that introduced itself. However, balconies had personal items on them and the building was open. I would not recommend anyone staying at this filthy and unsavoury establishment. Not to be confused with the Moniatis Hotel - also in Limassol - of which there is no connection.
Exterior
Desolate five-storey block, unkempt with shabby green and white paintwork. Ample-sized concrete and steel balconies overlook the busy main road directly at the front and the pool area at the rear. The ground floor is occupied by a smart Italian restaurant, which has no link to the property, and an off-licence and shop, which is owned by the property. The entrance has a feature stone window adjacent with a tiny terrace, where the owner sits drinking his coffee.
Property type: Apartments
Storeys: 5
Interior
On entering, four stairs lead up to a lift, and round to corridors that are guarded by two ornate lions. These were also littered with rubbish. The reception is padlocked and, on closer inspection, hosted paint pots, perfume bottles and other accessories for night-time entertainment!
Rooms: 24
Grounds
Grounds at the rear are dirty and untidy with no vegetation and rubbish strewn around. The pool area is locked and surrounded by a high wall.

Area Type: Located in the very centre of the tourist strip on the main coastal road, with a bus stop 50 yards away for access into the old town and port 4km along the coast. The CTO wooded beach is located 100 yards to the rear. Surrounded by bars, nightclubs, restaurants and souvenir shops.
Nearest beach: 100 yds (Limassol)
