The exterior of this building does nothing to prepare you for the delights awaiting within. A stunning, contemporary property with neutral colours and designer furnishings flowing throughout, creating an ambience of relaxation and sophistication. With grounds being limited, the outside areas have been ideally designed to offer a choice of space, while not appearing to be cluttered. This is an adult-only hotel – although a few children were present at the time of the visit – and it is ideal for middle aged and younger professional couples. It's important to note that the property also targets the business traveller and that the bar and restaurant are also popular venues in the social scene of affluent Cypriots.

A singular concrete block of eight storeys, well maintained in pale grey. About 80% of rooms have average-size concrete balconies with metal railings and large viewing windows. The plain entrance is fronted by palm trees and mature greenery, surrounded by the private car park, which also houses a hairdressers.

Interior

Ultra modern in design, the airy open-plan lobby hosts the reception and main bar. A mixture of pale marble and dark wood adorn the floors, with white furniture that includes relaxing sofas, leather and stained wood chairs, all in stylish designs surrounding slate grey tables. Angular columns, funky lighting and floor-to-ceiling plants that add a touch of colour, complete the chic look. The restaurant continues with the same theme and decor, as does the second bar, which boasts views out to a deck with glass balconies, tree sculptures and views over the pool and out to sea. The health club a floor below has a compact modern gym, aerobics room and Jacuzzi flowing into a foot spa, surrounded by a relaxation area.

Grounds

Grounds, and therefore vegetation, is limited to strategically placed palms, lemon trees and flower beds. The pool area has a pool bar with wooden carved furniture, and leads to a deck that overlooks the small, dark sandy cove the property shares with its neighbour. The luxurious sunbeds that adorn these areas have an inviting thick, beige mattress that lies directly on the ground with matching head rests.

Location

Area Type: Set on the beachfront on the busy main coastal road, in the centre of the tourist area with bars, restaurants, fast-food outlets and nightclubs in the vicinity. It is surrounded by other tourist accommodation of lower classifications. The Troodos mountains can be seen in the distance at the front of the property and a 10-minute drive will take you there. The old town of Limassol is 4km along the coast road towards the port.
