Stavrollia

A pleasant, basic property some distance from the resort centre, but with ample amenities in the vicinity, including the popular Nissi Beach. Suits all age groups who want to stay in a quieter accommodation, with low-key nightlife in the immediate area. Access to the resort centre is by bus, taxi or a 20-minute walk. The sister property, Stavrollia 2, has now been sold, so guests from that property no longer share the pool and facilities, which has resulted in more space for guests.

Exterior

A spacious car park fronts the main building, which has been built in a local stone design. The accommodation is in numerous clusters of small, plain blocks, two storeys high, with sizeable balconies and terraces, some with stone features.

Interior

The simple lobby that hosts the reception and wicker seating area is separated from the compact main bar and dining area by wooden trellising and leads to the outside terrace and bar, which is more spacious.

Grounds

Mature trees and thick vegetation surround the complex, giving it privacy from the road. The tidy, well-kept crazy-paving pathways running through the accommodation blocks, are edged with neatly trimmed hedges and colourful flowerbeds. The pool area is spacious, with red tiling that is worn in places, and the pool bar has ample seating, a pool table and dart board.

Location

Area Type: On the outskirts of the resort in the Nissi Bay area, the centre of which is a few minutes' walk away, where there is a choice of bars, restaurants, shops and the bus stop can be found. The waterpark is 500 metres further out of the resort and the centre of Ayia Napa, whether it's the main square or harbour, is 2km along the coast road, which is also lined all the way with a choice of restaurants and shops. Nissi Beach is within a 10-minute walk.
