Hammamet
what a place to be. There's a great choice of places to stay. Hotels are generally lovely places to stay. Fab hotels include Chich Khan, Averroes, Phenicia Les Citronniers and Residence Romane last 2 are small properties. Cascades is an excellent restaurant to go to in Hammamet. Shakespeare is fun for a night out followed by British Bar and Havana Club. These are main night life spots in Hammamet outside of hotels. Loads of history and fantastic beaches. An excellent choice for beach lovers. Hammamet is a traditional town. You are safe wandering around. You have the medina that can be avoided if you don't want the hassle of being dragged into the shops (although worth the experience), but also a lot of fixed price shops.
