Djerba
One of the downsides to the island is that Brits have only started travelling there so the locals are not that good at speaking English although they do try. If you can speak a bit of French or German it will help as everything is in these languages. The hotels are gorgeous and extremely good during the day but the evening entertainment consists of a harpist and ball room dancing. If you stay a little further rounds the island the beaches are fantastic and you will be able to get to the main towns easier and have more options of eating out etc. You will have a nice holiday with adequate entertainment.
