Pamporovo
The resort of Pamporovo is very small with limited bars and shops, although I did find a few nice sweatshirts. There was very little snow on the mountains when we arrived which made it difficult to ski for experienced skiers let alone beginners, but towards the end of the week the snow did improve a lot. If you prefer to snowboard I would definately recommend it, my brothers thoroughly enjoyed it and said that the groups were a lot smaller and they got a lot more out of it than I did with skiing. The mountains are beautiful, with breathtaking views of the resort. On the mountains there are many cafes serving food and drinks and the owners and staff are very friendly and speak quite good English, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The reps organise a pub crawl around the bars in the town which is good fun as you get to meet people from other hotels and the bars are very warm and welcoming.
